Should I change back to my old skateboard wheels?
Should I change back to my old skateboard wheels?Today I replaced my 54mm x 30mm wheels with a 54mm x 48mm wheels just to see how well the ride will be over rough roads, cracks, bumps etc. Mybig fat skatewheels are the old school kind and..I dont seem to like it but it looks good on a skateboard as it adds the longboard style. The fat wheels I have on now spins more under a finger flick but..when I skate on roads, the speed is not as fast as my old skinnier wheels. I notice I have to PUSH more and CARVE less to keep up in motion and move.. It takes alot of energy. Comparively, my older skinny wheels requires less push to keep moving but spins less under a finger flick I guess cuz of the wheel's size momentum . Should I change back to my old skinny wheels 54mm x 30 just for the speed sake of my board?? Notice how both sets of wheels have the same size in length. List down PROS & CONS if you can..Best answer may get full points.

Hi, I own a cruiser board it is the 'Sun City' by Globe surfstitch.com product globe sun city complete skateboard multi and I want to put orangatang fat frees on it, but the wheels currently on it are 62mm and the fat frees are 65mm. Is this going to give me wheel bite? And what can I do to prevent wheel bite if I do get the fat frees? help pleasee

I bought new skateboard bearings without telling my parents cause they say its a waste of money. My old bearings haven't been taken out of the wheels in years so there SUPER stuck. so ive been skating for a while at skateparks and whatnot but i quit for a good 5 years. decided to get back and my friend talked me into street skating. any good wheels you guys can suggest for street skating? im using 51mm wheels but ive heard 53 and up are alot smoother when it comes to the streets. ive tried on my current set and it's terrible...way to bumpy and its hard to get around.
